The following terms and conditions have been drafted to protect both you and us
Context of our training
The aims of our courses, workshops and bespoke sessions are to promote self-awareness of mind and body by way of mindfulness practice. Our training is suitable for people wishing to enhance their general well-being. The courses offered are taught for educational purposes and are in no way intended as a treatment for any specific psychological or physical condition.
If you are suffering from and are currently receiving treatment for any physical or mental condition (either from a psychiatrist, psychotherapist or counsellor) and/or have questions or concerns about attending a course, workshop or one-to-one session, we strongly advise you to consult with your GP or other relevant health professional before engaging in a mindfulness course or coaching session at this time.
It is also vitally important that you let us know, at Mindfulness Skills4Life, if you are experiencing any such conditions or have done within the last 1-2 years. We reserve the right to inform you that the training you have signed up for may be unsuitable for you at this time. If so, you will be contacted as soon as is possible to discuss this and, if necessary, you will be issued with an appropriate refund.
If you have recently or are currently experiencing a traumatic life event, including but not limited to, separation from a long-term partner, the death of a close family member or friend, or redundancy, it may not be the appropriate time for you to start mindfulness training. However, this may depend on many factors such as your support professional and personal support network, as well as the status of your mental, emotional and psychological health.
Again, we’d be grateful if you could let us know, in advance of training, if any of these circumstances is relevant to you. This will allow us to ascertain if it is suitable at this time to go ahead with starting mindfulness training. If you go ahead, you will be asked to sign a consent form which states you have read and understood fully these terms and conditions.
