Welcome Friends from Hope House School

This space is dedicated to YOU: your well-being and professional growth.

This is where you can access all your mindfulness-based resources to support you in and out of the classroom, and new resources will be shared each week after your personal sessions

So take a moment to explore, relax, and engage with tools designed to help you thrive. We’re here to support you as you continue making a positive impact on the lives of your students and yourself.

HERE ARE 5 TOP TIPS TO GET OFF TO A SMOOTH START

Start Small (1–5 minutes).

Begin with just a few minutes a day. You don’t need a long session to benefit. A quick breathing exercise or body scan during a break can make a big difference.

Anchor It to existing habits and daily routines

Pair your mindfulness practice with something you already do, like morning coffee, brushing your teeth, or a daily walk. This helps build the habit naturally.

Ditch mindless scrolling - set a mindful reminder

Use phone alarms or reminders to prompt you for quick mindfulness breaks throughout the day. Even just one or two minutes can help you refocus and relax.

People Power

Pair up with a colleague and practice the exercises together. Explore together, motivate one and other – learning and growing together is super fun.

Be Kind to Yourself

If you miss a day, an opportunity to practice don't worry. Mindfulness is a practice, not perfection. Gently remind yourself WHY your wellbeing is important to you and return to it without judgment.

By weaving formal mindfulness practices and mindful awareness into your daily activities, you can make it a regular part of your routine without needing to carve out large chunks of time.
